The Santander (UK) Group Pension Scheme is a defined benefit (DB) pension you’ve built up while working for Santander UK plc, or for one of the employers Santander has acquired.
A Trustee company, called Santander (UK) Group Pension Scheme Trustees Limited, is responsible for running the Scheme. You can find out more about the Trustee on the Your Trustee Board page.
The Scheme has seven sections corresponding to these employers.
You’re a member of one of the following sections, depending on which employer you were with. A small number of members have benefits in more than one section.
- A&L Section (formerly the Alliance & Leicester Pension Scheme)
- Associated Section (formerly the Abbey National (Associated Bodies) Pension Fund)
- Group Section (formerly the Abbey National Group Pension Scheme)
- SMA Section (formerly the Scottish Mutual Assurance plc Staff Pension Scheme)
- SPI Section (formerly the Scottish Provident Institution Staff Pension Fund)
- N&P Section (formerly the National & Provincial Building Society Pension Fund)
- Amalgamated Section (formerly the Abbey National Amalgamated Pension Fund)
