
About the scheme
The Santander (UK) Group Pension Scheme looks after the DB benefits you’ve built up whilst working. It’s managed by a Board of Trustees which is made up of representatives that were appointed by the Company and nominated by the members.
The Scheme is made of seven different sections depending on when you joined the Company:

Implementation Statement
Each year the trustee of the Santander (UK) Group Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”) is required to produce a statement to set out how, and the extent to which, the Trustee has followed the voting and engagement policies in its Statement of Investment Principles (“SIP”) during the Scheme Year. Statement of Investment Principles
Under Regulations 1 and 5(4) of the Pension Protection Fund (Pensionable Service) and Occupational Pension Schemes (Investment and Disclosure) (Amendment and Modification) Regulations 2018, there is an obligation to publish the Schemes Statement of Investment Principles. Responsible Investment Policy
This Policy supplements the Santander (UK) Group Pension Scheme’s Statement of Investment Principles and covers the Trustees’ approach to responsible investment and the matters required under Regulations 2(3)(b)(vi)-(vii) and 2(3)(c) of the Occupational Pension Schemes (Investment) Regulations 2005 (the Investment Regulations).
